We are delighted to be looking to recruit an experienced Deputy General Manager to join our great team of professional and dedicated individuals.
The main responsibilities/requirements for the role will be (but not limited to):
Overall day to day control of the food and beverage departments at The Inn South Stainley, incorporating 2 bars, Country pub dining, private events & weddings, standards, training, drinks offering, cocktails, mixology but to name a few areas.
Assisting the General Manager with the successful day to day management of all aspects of the Restaurant, Bar and Rooms, taking full control and accountability for all areas in their absence
Ensure all current Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures are complied with
A hands-on approach and leadership by example are essential, training, developing, and motivating the teams to deliver exceptional levels of customer service
Demonstrate the highest levels of attention to detail, be quality driven and can work at pace without compromising on standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to both work on your own and be a great team player with a 'can-do' attitude
Assist in developing the business by continually seeking opportunities to increase sales and improve service, anticipating changes and planning accordingly
Must be computer literate, with previous experience of using EPOS, Open Table and PMS being advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' previous experience working as a Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager, in a similar environment and will have a genuine passion for driving the team forward. Valid First Aid Certificate, Basic Food Hygiene qualification and Personal License advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
