We are looking for an ambitious, respectful and commercially aware leader, who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up, lead by example and deliver amazing results. As Deputy General Manager, you will be running the venue in absence of your General Manager, so being confident to stand on your own two feet is essential. You share the courteous and hospitable values of your General Manager and these will cascade down through your team and to your customers.


Supporting the General Manager in the effective onboarding of new team members is key to your role. Championing a philosophy of self development and growing a strong team of courteous employees who all understand exactly their responsibilities and accountabilities. Understanding that this is the key to your venues profitability and growth. You will be a key facilitator in the relationship between the kitchen team and the front of house team, ensuring it is seamless, and collaborative.


You will have bags of energy, resilience and creativity to tackle the challenges that naturally appear working for a fast-paced, growing company; whilst working collaboratively with the wider RedCat team and your General Manager team to ensure corners are never cut and we can be honest, proud and safe in everything we do.


Key Responsibilities:

The art of rota'ing - Ability to constantly assess the fine balance of rostering to minimize costs without compromising on outstanding customer service. Team enabler - Encouraging and supporting a culture of learning and development, talent retention and attraction through following company recruitment, induction training and appraisal practices accurately. Lets' grow together - You are commercially aware of what it takes to grow a business and increasing profitability through effective marketing initiatives, competition awareness, valuing customer feedback and continual assessment and improvement of our product and service. Positive attitude - Providing unexpected surprises to the team and customers and moments of care, being calm and considerate of fellow colleagues. Problem Solver - Emerging as a self-starter, you will have an ability to manage through complex situations. Compliance management - Experience and continuous due diligence in health and safety, food safety, risk assessment, onboarding and induction training. Exceptionally Customer focused - Being approachable, calm and friendly, even in times of pressure. A product expert - From running effective menu launch training to supporting your team to be brilliant at recommendations, you are passionate about our perfect offering and know everything about it! Venue Maintenance - Championing ambiance, working with the General Manager and team to ensure your venue is as warm, welcoming and safe as possible. Excellent stock control skills
