Deputy Head of Product Development & Regulatory Consulting Senior/Principal Consultant Level | Hybrid - UK, Netherlands, or Australia A fast-growing international consultancy is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its leadership team as Deputy Head of Product Development & Regulatory Consulting. This is a full-time hybrid position, reporting to the Head of the department, with affiliation to one of the company's offices in the UK, Netherlands, or Australia (minimum one day per month on-site). This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading regulatory consulting operations, delivering strategic advice to clients, and mentoring a high-performing team of consultants. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Department in leading the global operational team and driving delivery excellence Provide regulatory and technical strategy support for early development through to marketing authorisation Oversee and contribute to the preparation of regulatory documentation including INDs, CTAs, MAA/BLAs, and more Lead multi-jurisdictional projects and ensure quality, budget, and timeline adherence Line-manage, mentor, and coach a team of consultants, fostering their professional development Collaborate with business development to grow client accounts and support proposal efforts Contribute to internal process improvements, systems implementation, and SOP development Participate in leadership activities and contribute to overall business strategy and direction Required Skills & ExperienceAdvanced scientific qualifications (MSc/PhD in Life Sciences or related field preferred) 8+ years of drug development and regulatory experience for Senior Consultant level, or 10+ years for Principal Consultant level Regulatory experience with authorities such as the FDA, EMA, MHRA, or TGA, including agency interactions Strong leadership background with 5+ years of direct or matrix management experience Broad therapeutic area knowledge and proven ability to provide strategic development advice Excellent writing, project leadership, and client-facing communication skills Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to account growth Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to travel when required
