Our Supported living services help people to live as independently as possible. You will be responsible for a set number of hours per week to assist the house manager in their duties and for the remaining hours of your contract you will deliver support for people to live in a safe, excellent quality and happy home.

Your Role
You will ensure that not only you but your team deliver a high quality, safe and person-centred support to the people using our services. This includes lots of things, from personal care through to supporting people to get out and about, and live the life they choose.
As a deputy house manager, you will assist the house manager to ensure the service:
Provides excellent support with personal care, activities and day to day help with a range of tasks (e.g. medication administration, moving and positioning, financial support etc.)
Ensure individual person-centred plans are adhered to and delivered in a timely manner.
Provide assurance that the house, care and support provided is safe and compliant with our regulatory and legislative requirements.
Respond, report and act on any incidents or concerns that arise, in accordance with health and safety, safeguarding and other relevant incident management processes
Ensure all staff are up to date with mandatory training requirements and development as identified
Ensure all audits and compliance checks are completed and company policies adhered to.
As a personal assistant you will:
Provide excellent support with personal care to maintain high hygiene standards
Help to make sure our physical environment is happy and stimulating
Provide a choice of activities and support that they can choose from depending on their own likes, preferences, and aspirations
Maintain a high standard of living for individuals including shopping, laundry, decorating, home maintenance, gardening and other aspects of a domestic nature
Support with their day to day finances
Help with any medical appointments or other health needs identified in their person-centred plans
Support and assist with any moving and handling equipment, including wheelchairs respectfully, and maintaining their dignity
Administer medication in accordance with individual plans
Support and encourage them to participate in leisure, work or voluntary activities
Respond and report on any incidents or concerns that arise during their stay, in accordance with health and safety, safeguarding and other relevant incident management processes
