### Job Title: Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) - Nursing Home - Clinical Lead

Location: Aberdare, CF44

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our leadership team as a Deputy Manager at our well-established nursing home in Aberdare.

This is a key Clinical Lead role for a senior Staff Nurse or current Deputy with extensive nursing home experience. You will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager in all clinical and operational aspects, ensuring the delivery of outstanding elderly care.

### Key Responsibilities

As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for:

Providing strong clinical leadership and supervision to the team of nurses and care staff, acting as a clinical role model.
Deputising for the Home Managerin their absence, taking full responsibility for the home's clinical and care services.
Leading and managing all medication rounds, ensuring strict adherence to NMC guidelines and company policy.
Working autonomously to manage the clinical needs of residents, demonstrating expert clinical decision-making skills.
Developing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality, person-centred care plans.
Mentoring and supporting Registered Nurses and Student Nurses*, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Playing a key role in CQC compliance, clinical audits, and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Working closely with the Home Manageron staff supervision, training, and rostering.
### Qualifications & Experience

The ideal Clinical Deputy Manager will have:

Essential: A valid NMC Pin(RGN or RMN).
Essential: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead role within a UK nursing home*.

Substantial and proven experience in elderly carewithin a care home setting.
Expert competence in leading medication administration and management.
The ability to work autonomously and use initiative to lead shifts without supervision.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop a team.
A comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
### Shift Pattern & Benefits

Hours:Full-Time, 41.25 hours per week.
Shift Pattern:3 long days and one 6-hour supernumerary day.
Salary: A competitive hourly rate of 21.00*.
