We're now seeking a passionate and experienced
Deputy Manager
to help lead our teams across Weymouth, Dorchester, and Ferndown. If you're ready to inspire others and bring out the best in a team while supporting young people to thrive, this could be the opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing
As Deputy Manager, you will:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of dedicated support staff
Deputise for the Registered Service Manager as needed
Ensure full compliance with OFSTED, safeguarding requirements, and internal policies
Oversee daily operations, including rota planning, health and safety, and the physical environment
Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and partner agencies
Help create a safe, nurturing space where young people feel supported, respected, and empowered
Participate in direct support work with young people where appropriate
Provide supervision, appraisals, and development opportunities for your team
About You
You'll be a strong fit for this role if you are:
Experienced in a leadership role in supported housing or residential settings
Qualified (or working toward) a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
A compassionate, resilient communicator with a strong sense of responsibility
A driver with a full UK driving licence
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
