What You'll Be Doing
Assisting the Registered Manager in running the home with energy and structure
Supervising and mentoring staff, ensuring therapeutic care is consistent and meaningful
Helping to create a stable environment that supports the emotional and practical development of boys aged 10-17
Contributing to care plans, safeguarding processes, and team wellbeing
Liaising with social workers, therapists, families, and other professionals
Supporting recruitment, inductions, and team development
What We're Looking For
At least
2 years of supervisory experience
in a residential or childcare setting
Minimum 2 years working directly with children
, ideally in a children's home
A
Level 4 qualification
in a relevant field (Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care, Education, or Young People's Workforce)
Thick-skinned but warm-hearted - someone who can handle hard days and still show up with humour and humanity
A team player with
natural leadership skills
and great emotional intelligence
