About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll lead by example, inspire the team, and ensure a high standard of care and education is consistently delivered.

, capable of motivating and guiding a team Excellent knowledge of the

EYFS

and child development Experience in a senior childcare role, ideally in a nursery setting Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above (essential) A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery operations Lead and mentor staff to maintain a high-quality, child-focused environment Ensure policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are met Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community Take initiative in planning, monitoring, and evaluating educational activities
