We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our passionate team and help support the continued success of the nursery.
The Role:
As Deputy Manager, you'll play a key leadership role within the setting, working alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You will lead by example, support staff development, and help uphold the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery
Lead and motivate the staff team to ensure high standards across the setting
Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum and ensure best practices are followed
Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and carers
Oversee health & safety, safeguarding, and compliance procedures
Take charge in the absence of the Nursery Manager
Contribute to staff training, development, and performance reviews
What We're Looking For:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years
Proven experience in a senior nursery or room leader role
Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding legislation
Confident leadership and communication skills
A caring, hands-on approach and a passion for early years education
Organised, reliable, and committed to delivering excellence
