About the Role
We are looking for a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to join our children's residential service in Bradford, supporting children with learning disabilities. This is a vital leadership role within a nurturing, person-centred environment where children with complex needs are supported to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Lead and supervise a team of residential support workers
Ensure care plans are implemented, monitored, and regularly reviewed
Promote positive outcomes through therapeutic, educational, and social support
Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding protocols
Participate in on-call duties and assist with rota planning
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (Level 5 desirable)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting
Strong understanding of learning disabilities and complex behaviours
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
