Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our communal living scheme. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional senior support. As the Deputy Manager, you will support the overall management of the scheme, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality support tailored to their individual needs. You will work closely with the manager and other team members to provide a high level of service to our residents that promotes independent living.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the daily operations of the scheme, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Supervise and support catering, support and maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills in senior support. Develop, implement, and review personalised support plans for residents, ensuring that their needs are met effectively. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion within the scheme, particularly for residents who need additional support. Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for residents. Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff members. Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred. Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and engage with residents and families. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
