Job Description

This is a new role joining an existing senior management team. We need a 'right hand person' to provide day to day support to the Registered Manager to maintain our CQC rating of Green. This is a real opportunity for a nurse who wants to develop their management career.

The facility is a modern 18 bedded mental health home for younger adults with complex needs including learning disabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress in a stable management environment with mentoring support, monthly governance meetings including contact with the owners and a full complement of Nursing staff.

What you must bring to the Role

A 'clear' NMC PIN - preferably RMN or dual registered RGN/RMN or RGN/RLDN (held for min 5 years)

Working knowledge of referring safeguards to the relevant commissioning bodies and CQC reporting

A

proven

track record & first hand experience of

bed management, pre-admission assessments of potential service users. DOLs in a mental health environment (including management of medication protocols) Writing Care Plans for new admissions and managing periodic reviews of existing documentation
