We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced
Deputy Manager
to support the Registered Manager in leading our team and ensuring the home continues to meet and exceed the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
Lead and supervise a team of residential support workers.
Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols are followed and regularly reviewed.
Maintain a child-focused approach in all areas of the home's operation.
Participate in recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
Participate in the on-call rota and provide cover when required.
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential.
At least 2 years' experience working in a residential children's care setting.
Previous supervisory or senior role experience.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A passion for working with children and making a lasting impact.
