We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high-quality care and outcomes are achieved for the children in our care.
As Deputy Manager, you will:
Assist with the overall management of the home and staff team
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
Lead, support and motivate a team of Residential Support Workers
Contribute to care planning and safeguarding of young people
Maintain accurate records and reports
Take responsibility in the absence of the Registered Manager
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in children's residential care (minimum of 2 years)
Holds or working towards Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - Level 5 preferred
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
A confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends when required
