We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager / staff team.

What We're Offering

Salary of 35k to 40k depending on experience. Annual and performance bonus of up to 2000 Ongoing development and progression, with CPD and leadership opportunities. The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will:

Work with our Operations Manager / Registered Manager to support the home manager and assist in setting up our next home. Lead from the front; recruiting, supporting, and developing / training your team. Create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and staff. Ensure safeguarding, risk management, and care planning are always of the highest standard. Support young people with complex needs using trauma-informed approaches. Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and agencies. Make sure the home is always inspection-ready, aiming for Good or Outstanding. Provide strong, compassionate leadership that puts children and young people at the centre of everything.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 or higher Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (essential). Has experience managing in a children's residential setting. Understands regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements. Can lead and inspire a team with resilience, integrity, and empathy. Has experience supporting children with EBD/LD and complex needs. Holds a full UK driving licence.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with on-call availability & support with shift work when required to do so.
