We are currently recruiting a Deputy House Manager to assist in leading one of our specialist solo or dual-occupancy homes. You will support the Registered House Manager and be a visible leader on the floor - guiding, supporting, and role-modelling excellence for our exceptional team of Children's Residential Support Workers.

This isn't a job for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. It's a role for someone who wants to be present, accountable, and involved - someone who's ready to step up, lean in, and lead from the front.

The Role



As Deputy House Manager, you will:



Lead day-to-day operations of the home, overseeing rotas, staffing, care routines and quality standards. Act as a Keyworker for one or more young people, ensuring their voice, safety, and progress are central. Coach, mentor and supervise the team - building their confidence, skillset, and compassion. Support with safeguarding, incident reporting - always prioritising accountability and transparency. Be part of the on-call duty rota, working with other Deputy and Registered Managers across our growing portfolio. Champion our RESET Care Model - ensuring young people are Reassured, Empowered, Supported, Educated and prepared for Transition

What We're Looking For



Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential) Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 (Desirable) 2+ years' experience in a residential children's setting (Essential) Experience leading shifts and acting as a Keyworker Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulation, and therapeutic care A visible, emotionally intelligent leader - with the courage to model best practice and challenge mediocrity A UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle
