What We're Looking For
We're seeking a
compassionate, confident, and proactive Deputy Manager
to support the day-to-day operations of the home and lead a passionate team. This role is ideal for an existing Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or an experienced Senior RSW ready to take the next step in their career.
Essential Requirements ?
Level 3 Diploma
in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
Proven experience
as a Deputy, Assistant Manager, or Senior RSW in a children's residential care setting
Sound knowledge of
safeguarding
and
relevant childcare legislation
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills
A
full UK driving licence (manual)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
IT proficiency and a willingness to learn new systems

Your Role in the Home
As Deputy Manager, you will:
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of RSWs and Senior RSWs
Ensure children's
placement plans
and support strategies are effectively delivered
Uphold the highest
safeguarding
standards and regulatory compliance
Be a role model of consistency, empathy, and resilience
Work collaboratively with external professionals and families
