We have a partnership with a sector leading, specialist therapeutic psychology company, who are able to offer a tailored package for our staff and young people

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Deputy Manager. Working with a strong team, you will help to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our care.



As a deputy manager you will be required to:



Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's missions' statement and values. Deputise for the Home Manager in the event that they are on leave or otherwise absent from the home. Support and manage the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people. Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate. Ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated. Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. Offer supervision and support to carers in line with Quality Standards & Regulations and as directed by the Home Manager. Promote Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with Clinical and Education services on site.

As a successful applicant you will have:



1 years' relevant supervisory experience 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with young people with challenging. behaviour, with a minimum of 6 months of these having been at a senior level. Experience of acting as appropriate adult.

Qualifications



Secondary Education with good standard of literacy and numeracy Diploma Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce or NVQ equivalent Hold a valid Driving licence.

This role includes shift work involving evenings, weekends and sleeps (including a sleep-in allowance). The rota is 2 days on and 4 off.



Please note the minimum age requirement for this role is 21 years old.

Pay: Up to 40,000.00 per year
