We are seeking to employ an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and support the manager in ensuring that the nursery is running to an exceptionally high standard at all times.
To be successful you must have a minimum qualification of Level 3 in Early Years and at least 2 years experience of working at managerial level in a childcare setting.
Working Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 and 6 the main responsibilities of this role is to:
ensure that the aims, values and culture of the company is reflected throughout
work in close partnership with parents
support the manager in the recruitment and retention of staff
work cooperatively with all members of the team to ensure our they are engaged and inspired to deliver high quality education and experiences
ensure that the companies policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and that safeguarding is of the upmost importance
ensure that children are cared for in a safe, exciting and stimulating environment
Essential skills
The ability to work cooperatively as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for all children and their families
The ability to work well under pressure
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to lead the setting in the absence of the manager
