Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Deputy Manager to join our team at Lilliput Montessori Day Nurseries in Leicestershire. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide high-quality early childhood education and care, ensuring that every child thrives in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the Nursery Manager in daily operations and management of the nursery.

Foster a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies. Participate in planning and implementing activities that promote children's learning and development. Maintain accurate records related to children's development and nursery operations. Assist senior staff with opening/locking the setting. Qualifications Level 3 early years Ideally management experience (not require)
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.

Experience working directly with children in a nursery or educational environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education (e.g., Level 3 Diploma). Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
