We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to support the Nursery Manager in leading our dedicated team and ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding.

What You'll Do

Support and deputise for the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations. Provide leadership and guidance to staff across all rooms. Ensure high standards of planning, observation, and assessments in line with the Curriculum for Excellence / Pre-Birth to Three. Champion a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children and staff. Lead on safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance with Care Inspectorate standards. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals. Mentor and support staff development, appraisals, and training needs.

What We're Looking For

SVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare (BA Childhood Practice desirable). Previous experience in a senior nursery role (Room Leader or Deputy). Strong leadership and communication skills. Up-to-date knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practice. Passion for outdoor learning and child-led development. A caring, reliable, and professional attitude.
