We are seeking a dedicated and clinically excellent Registered Nurse (RGN) to step into a key leadership role as a Deputy Manager at our well-established nursing home in Great Yarmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Staff Nurse or Clinical Lead ready to advance their career. You will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager in all aspects of clinical leadership and day-to-day management, ensuring the delivery of outstanding elderly care.

### Key Responsibilities
As the Deputy Manager (RGN), you will be responsible for:
Providing strong clinical leadership and supervision to the team of nurses and care staff, acting as a role model for best practices.
Deputising for the Home Managerin their absence, taking full responsibility for the home's operation.
Leading and managing medication rounds, ensuring strict adherence to NMC guidelines and company policy.
Utilizing electronic care plansto develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality, person-centred care.
Mentoring and supporting Registered Nurses (RGNs) and Student Nursesto enhance their clinical skills and performance.
Playing a key role in CQC compliance*, with a confident understanding of CQC competencies and standards.
Conducting clinical audits and contributing to the home's quality assurance and governance frameworks.
Supporting the Home Managerwith staff supervision, training, and roster management.
### Qualifications & Experience
The ideal Deputy Manager will have:
Essential: A valid NMC Pin(RGN or RMN).
Essential: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead role within a UK nursing home or care home*.
Substantial experience in elderly careand a strong, hands-on clinical skillset.
Proven competence in leading medication administration and management.
Experience using electronic care plansand clinical systems.
A good working knowledge of CQC regulationsand what is required for a successful inspection.
The flexibility to work a mix of days and nights to meet the needs of the service.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
