We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our leadership team and help drive excellence across the nursery.

The Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will play a key role in mentoring staff, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Manager in the smooth running of the nursery Lead by example in providing high-quality care and early education Supervise, mentor, and support the staff team to reach their full potential Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are always followed Maintain positive partnerships with parents and carers Support with administrative tasks including staff rotas, reporting, and planning Step into the Manager's role when required

What We're Looking For:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a nursery setting Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills A warm, approachable, and professional manner Passionate about delivering high standards of early years care and education
