About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to help lead a children's residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This is a full-time, permanent position offering up to 40,000 per annum, inclusive of performance-based bonuses. You'll be joining a therapeutic setting where safeguarding, development, and team support are prioritised.

Responsibilities

Support and guide care staff in delivering consistent, trauma-informed care Promote a nurturing, safe, and structured environment for young people Assist in quality assurance, audits, and day-to-day operations Lead shifts and provide cover in the Registered Manager's absence Contribute to staff development through mentoring and supervision Uphold regulatory standards and promote best practice at all times

Requirements

At least 2 years' experience in a children's residential care setting Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior or team leader role Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 4 Diploma in Children, Young People & Families (or willingness to work towards) Full UK driving licence and own transport Excellent leadership, communication, and safeguarding awareness
