Allandale Care Group runs and operates two Residential Care Homes on the heart of the Wirral. We provide the 'homely' feel whilst our professional, dedicated and compassionate team ensures our residents safety, dignity and individuality.
Both our homes are tastefully decorated with beautiful gardens and our own state of the art minibus to take our much-loved residents on a variety of trips.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home. You will play a key role in leading the team, ensuring high standards of care, and promoting a positive culture for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards
Lead and supervise staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
Develop and review person centred care plans and risk assessments in collaboration with individuals, families and professionals.
Oversee care planning and risk assessments
Manage rotas, training and performance reviews.
Support recruitment, training, and staff development
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Act as a role model for best practice in care delivery
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a senior care role, ideally within a residential setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
A genuine passion for elderly care
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
