We're seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our preschool team! As a key member of staff, you'll play a vital role in leading our team and delivering high-quality early years education.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Support the Manager in leading the preschool team
Assume the role of Designated Health and Safety Officer and conduct risk assessments
Contribute to the implementation of setting policies and procedures
Deputise for the Manager in their absence
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for children
Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements:
Relevant early years qualifications (e.g., Level 3 or above)
Minimum two years' experience in an early years setting.
Must hold or be willing to obtain a Level 2 Maths qualification within two years (EYFS 2024 requirement)
Good understanding of child development, EYFS framework, safeguarding, SEN Code of Practice and equal opportunities
Strong record keeping and reporting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of data protection and information management
