Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the daily running of the home and deputise in their absence.
Undertake regular audits including care plans, medication, and general compliance checks.
Manage and support teams of carers, including conducting supervisions, appraisals, and staff development.
Complete assessments and contribute to care planning, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote residents' health and wellbeing.
Work on the care floor to support the team and ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery.
Complete floor-based audits, reviews of care documentation, and any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Home Manager.
Allocate time for managerial and administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
Minimum
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
(or equivalent).
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a care setting.
Strong computer literacy and experience in using care management systems.
A genuine interest and commitment to working with individuals living with dementia.
