We have an exciting opportunity for a new Deputy Manager post here at Liverpool and Widnes. The role is key to ensuring that our service is well lead, our values are maintained, and that customer's needs, wishes and outcomes are at the forefront of the care provided by MCJA.


To undertake the role of Deputy Manager under the direction of the Registered Manager to monitor performance across all areas of care services, to ensure that front line services are delivered to a high standard and quality, are safe, compliant and that staff deployed have the right skills, knowledge and experience to meet customer need.

Job Opportunity




What you will be doing...



You'll be working with a warm, friendly team supporting care in the Liverpool and Widnes area of the Liverpool branch. You will not just be joining a Care Company; it's a family who supports clients and staff. You will be involved in a variety of managerial duties involving:

Role model for the team under your supervision Provide general support & guidance to the team Ensure that all processes pertaining to compliance both contractual and CQC are met Work with the Registered Manager Ensure that all systems and records are updated Ensure that the team, support and maintain a good working relationship Monitor practice and performance of the team Conduct planned supervision with individual team members Ensure that the Locality Management team are conducting staff supervisions

Essential Skills




Key to the success in this position, will include previous management experience in a Home care setting. With sound business acumen and a strong desire to grow the Branch hours/profitability.


The post holder should have a good working knowledge of electronic rostering systems - preferably Care planner/Access.
