Job Description

In this store-based role, you will assist in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving the growth of our business. As a key team member, you will play an important role in delivering the high standards that our customers expect from us. We want someone with an understanding of the importance of local marketing, brand awareness, and community engagement. This role is key in connecting with the local audience through social media, partnerships, and sponsorships while ensuring all marketing efforts align with the central marketing team's strategy.

In addition to operational tasks, you will assist with administrative aspects of the business. This includes supporting the leasing process, handling rental agreements, renewals, and fee collections, as well as maintaining accurate records and customer information. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and management team to execute strategies to boost occupancy and achieve revenue targets. Engaging with the local community and supporting marketing campaigns to enhance our visibility and attract new customers is also part of your responsibilities. A large player in the success of the business will also involve:

Working alongside the central marketing team to deliver local marketing initiatives and activities. Managing and posting engaging local/community content on social media. Proactively identifying and building relationships with local businesses and community partners. Seeking sponsorship and event opportunities to enhance brand visibility. Capturing and reporting marketing activities and insights to the Branch Manager and Area Manager via store Tactical Planners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively with the team. Training will be provided, so if you're not too familiar with storage but have a can-do attitude, we will give you the tools to be successful.

You should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering business growth. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary, as is the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, is required to meet customer needs and support the facility's operations. The ideal candidate will also have:

Experience in social media marketing, community outreach, or local marketing initiatives. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently while aligning with central marketing goals.
