Role requirements:

You are able to ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures

You are able to implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development

You will be able to support all nursery staff in their roles, leading them to deliver outstanding childcare

You are a strong communicator with both adults and children

You are able to work well within a team

You recognise when to report issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services

You are able to work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive

You always maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors

You are creative and inspire learning as well as great at planning and organising

You have a willingness to learn

Essentials

Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

Paediatric First Aid

Basic Safeguarding

Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a Third-in-Charge/Room Leader
