Pembury Pre-school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
Deputy Manager & Healthy Child Lead Practitioner
to join our friendly team.You'll support the Manager in delivering outstanding childcare and education, while leading on health and wellbeing across the setting -- including the
Mayor of London's Healthy Early Years London Award
.What You'll Do
Support the day-to-day management of the Pre-school. Lead on health and wellbeing initiatives and organise
2-year-old health checks
in partnership with health visitors. Work closely with theSENCO
to support children with additional needs and create individual support plans. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards. Build positive relationships with staff, families, and external agencies.What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education. Experience in a senior or deputy management role. Knowledge of EYFS, SEND, and safeguarding frameworks. Excellent communication and leadership skills. A proactive, caring, and flexible approach.
Desirable:
Level 4 qualification, experience with the HEYL programme, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene certificates.
