Position Overview:
We are seeking a Deputy Manager to play a pivotal role in our team, assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Children's Home on a 9-5 work pattern. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children while showcasing your leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership to inspire and guide the team in delivering exceptional care.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and nurturing environment for children.
Offer specialised care and support to meet the individual needs of children with EBD, Mental Health challenges, Learning Disabilities, and SEMH.
Implement and monitor care plans, continuously striving for the well-being and development of the children.
Organise and facilitate educational and recreational activities for the children.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to maintain a safe and high-quality environment.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a children's residential setting or equivalent.
Compassionate and patient nature essential for working with children facing challenges.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with children, families, and professionals.
