Deputy Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a positive, motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious Deputy Nursery Manager to join our dedicated, small, and friendly team. You should have at least a Level 3 qualification, ideally with SENCo experience.
As Deputy Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring outstanding practice among practitioners and demonstrating excellent customer-facing skills. You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager, gaining experience in all aspects of leadership and assisting in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
In addition to being an inspiring practitioner, you should have a good understanding of Ofsted requirements, EYFS Statutory Requirements, and stay informed about current issues in the field. A solid grasp of the broader Early Years landscape and the relevant legal frameworks is crucial, along with a genuine passion for shaping and impacting the lives of young children.
In the manager's absence, you will take full responsibility for the setting carrying out your role with confidence and sensitivity.
This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy or Room Leader looking for greater autonomy and responsibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent
Pay: Up to 35,000.00 per year
Experience:
deputy/room leader: 2 years (preferred)
