Job Overview:



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Supported Living Team. As Deputy Manager you will be leading and managing teams in providing support and personal care to people who have physical and/or learning difficulties to live in their own homes. You will work closely with the Service Managers to manage the allocated budget effectively, delivering excellent value for money.

Hours of Work :

38.33 hours per week

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm ( You may be required to work alternative days/hours depending on the needs of the service)

Location:

Discovery Court, Wallisdown Road, Poole, BH12 5AG (This role does involve travelling to other locations within Dorset)

Salary

: 35,235.73 per annum

Main Duties:



Develop and deliver services to support people with any level of disability, including those with complex support needs. Ensure primary and mental health of people supported is maintained. Ensure that services are delivered in a way that meets the person's needs and enables them to achieve agreed outcomes. Ensure that all staff are trained to meet mandatory training requirements of the organisation and understand that they are responsible for and are active participants in their own learning and development. Work with HR team to recruit and induct new staff. Develop the recruitment process to gain improvements in retention rates within the service. Manage the service and work within the overall framework of Diverse Abilities' Policies and Procedures, Commissioning and CQC standards and all legal requirements. Ensure that the services provided are compliant with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 as regulated by CQC. Identify areas of development for the Services/Diverse Abilities. Provide and forward any proposals or concerns to the Managers. Ensure the service provided fully reflects the needs and wishes of those it supports through ongoing person-centred planning whilst adhering to all legal frameworks. Ensure that services provided strive to be in line with the REACH standard in Supported Living To protect people we support from harm and abuse through safeguarding and escalating where necessary Monitor the quality of each part of the service that is provided using key performance indicators through planned and unannounced visits to the home of the person supported.

FULL UK Manual driving license Vehicle Insurance for Business Use Diploma Level 3 or equivalent Confident in numeracy and literacy and IT proficient Strong leadership style Medication administration experience
