to step into the pivotal role of
Deputy Manager
at our nursing home in Stourport-on-Severn. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Staff Nurse
or
Clinical Lead
ready to advance into management.
As a
Clinical Deputy Manager
, you will split your time between hands-on clinical care and supernumerary administrative duties, providing the perfect balance of patient interaction and leadership development. You will work closely with the
Home Manager
to ensure the delivery of outstanding
elderly care
and the smooth running of the home. If you are an ambitious

NMC PIN

Key Responsibilities
Provide strong
clinical
leadership and supervision to the team of nurses and care staff, acting as a
Clinical Lead
and role model.
Work a balanced rota (2 days clinical, 2 days supernumerary) to oversee care delivery and manage administrative duties effectively.
Deputise for the
Home Manager
in their absence, taking full responsibility for the home's clinical and operational management.
Mentor, train, and support a team of
Staff Nurses
and care staff, conducting supervisions and promoting professional development.
Lead and manage
medication rounds
, complex clinical procedures, and the development of comprehensive care plans.
Utilise supernumerary time for audits, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure CQC compliance.
Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of
elderly care
are consistently met.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Valid NMC PIN
as a
Registered Nurse (RGN)
is essential.
At least
2 years of post-qualification experience
as an
RGN
within a
nursing home
or
care home
setting.
Proven experience in a senior clinical capacity (e.g.,
Senior Staff Nurse
,
Clinical Lead
).
The right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship is required.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
