The Role
This part-time role (3 days a week) involves supporting the Nursery Owner/Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, modelling best practice, and ensuring the highest standards of care and learning are upheld.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the leadership and smooth running of the nursery
Supporting and mentoring staff, bringing warmth, trust and positivity to the team
Providing exceptional care and education in line with the EYFS
Building strong relationships with children and families
Promoting a calm, joyful and well-organised learning environment
Contributing to planning, safeguarding and administrative duties
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Level 3 qualified (or above) in Early Years Education
Reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic about children's care and development
Confident in leading by example and supporting colleagues with empathy and clarity
Passionate about child-led learning and creating thoughtful, enriching environments
Organised, proactive and reflective
Committed to safeguarding and high-quality practice
