Deputy Manager - Maple Tree Court (Anchor)



Location: Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent



Hours: 42 per week



Salary: 35,000 per annum

The Role



As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily running of Maple Tree Court. Supporting the Home Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of care delivery, compliance and team performance. Your responsibilities will include:


Leading and supporting the care team to provide person-centred care. Managing staff rotas and ensuring the right skill mix to meet resident needs. Overseeing care plans, medication management and safeguarding practices. Deputising for the Home Manager in their absence. Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff and local professionals. Driving continuous improvement to maintain compliance with CQC standards.

About You



We are looking for an experienced care professional who can combine strong leadership with compassion and commitment. You will bring:


Experience of managing teams within a care environment. Good knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and health & safety. A recognised care or management qualification (minimum Level 3 Care Diploma or equivalent). Excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills. A passion for delivering high quality care and supporting older people.
