Little Gems Lindford belongs to growing Nursery Group based in Hampshire ! We are looking for a strong and experienced Deputy Manager to lead medium size team alongside our Manager with dedication and passion!
What does this role require?
Little Gems Lindford is a 30 place term time only setting comprising of one room of mix age children. Ages of children range from 18 months to pre-school age. We require someone with an Experience in Leadership and able to inspire the team to success. Curiosity approach knowlegde will be a huge bonus.
As part of a team of Leaders and Educators, you'll need excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering high standards to collaboratively strive for excellence.
It's imperative that you uphold our high standards with Employees and Parents. Excellent working knowledge of Ofsted to ensure that relevant goals regarding Ofsted are achieved as well as our ethos : where every child is treasured is uphold.
This is room based role so you must ABSOLUTLY love spending time and engaging with children.

The role of the Deputy Manager
The Deputy is the welcoming face and the forefront of the nursery alongside the Manager and in Manager's absence.
You'll be co- responsible for organising a busy and innovative pre-school with on avarage 24 children and 4 employees, collaboratively working with Leaders to ensure the smooth running of this Reggio Emilia Inspired setting.
The central and most important part of this role is supporting pre-school Manager and staff on the ground to ensure excellent practice is carried out with children, putting into place the best and most up to date researched practices including behaviour management, personal care and hygiene, and child-led learning.
The Deputy will show passion and enthusiasm for the Reggio Emilia Approach and support and train staff on the nursery floor, providing both inspiration, teachings of the approach and feedback to staff throughout the day to create a culture of continuous professional development. It is expected the Deputy spend a good proportion of their time in practice with staff, to include side by side coaching, supporting planning meetings, training and building the educator's confidence with the Reggio approach and EYFS delivery.
Our nurseries are predominantly child-led and our curriculum is emergent, so you'll need to inspire your team to think on their feet and be in tune with children to extend their learning in the moment.

Pay: From 13 per hour

Our nurseries operate 38 weeks per year, 9 am - 3pm Monday-Friday.
The position is term time only ( three days early start 8am)
