About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and committed
Deputy Manager
to join our 3-bed residential children's home in Uxbridge. The home supports children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs, providing a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated childcare professional to step into a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, support, and lead a team of residential care staff
Ensure high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
Support children with EBD, SEMH, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities
Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and day-to-day operations of the home
Maintain a structured and therapeutic living environment
Work closely with families, professionals, and external agencies
Coordinate educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - Essential
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a children's residential care setting - Essential
Full UK Driving Licence - Required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Compassionate, resilient, and child-centred approach
