Are you an experienced and passionate early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? My Little Boardroom, a small, privately owned nursery opening in Wokingham in October 2025, is seeking a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support our team full-time.

Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Act as Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for smooth running of the nursery.
Assist with planning and delivering educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks.
Mentor and motivate nursery staff, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, ensuring excellent communication and partnership.
Safeguard and promote the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
Contribute to organising activities that encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.
Support with record keeping and administration relating to children's progress, attendance, and staff management.
Champion initiatives to continually improve the quality of care and education provided.
Skills
Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
Experience in a supervisory role within a nursery or early years setting.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to support and inspire colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Sound knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices.
Passion for early childhood education and commitment to delivering outstanding childcare.
Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to the needs of a busy nursery environment.

Pay: 24,500.00-28,000.00 per year
