We are looking for a deputy manager in Haunton, (Staffordshire) for a 2-bedded children's home that looks after young people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The salary is 42,000 to 46,000 and there is also a bonus scheme. This is a Monday to Friday 'Off-shift' role, 40 hours per week with no sleep-ins unless covering for sickness etc.

Job overview:
The Deputy Manager will assist in managing the home ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to the children and young people. You will be responsible for helping to oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of staff to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
The Deputy Manager will assist the Registered Manager with care plans that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child, promoting their well-being and development, and fostering positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies. You are also accountable for managing safeguarding procedures, staff training, and promoting a culture of respect, safety, and empowerment within the home.
The deputy manager will be supported by the Registered Manager and an Operational Team that has a combined, over 60 years' experience in children's residential care.
