Support the Home Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring CQC compliance and high standards of care.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the nursing and care team, promoting best practices in dementia care.
Assist with staff training, rotas, and performance reviews.
Contribute to care planning, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Clinical Duties (22 hrs/week as Nurse in Charge):
Deliver direct nursing care to residents with dementia, ensuring person-centred, compassionate support.
Administer medications, manage complex care needs, and liaise with GPs/multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to safeguarding and infection control protocols.

Essential:
NMC-registered General Nurse (RGN)
with proven experience in
dementia care
.
Previous experience as a
Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse
in a nursing home.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts.
In-depth knowledge of
CQC standards
and dementia best practices.

Management qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership or equivalent).
Experience in a
fully occupied nursing home
setting.
