to join our dedicated team at our Nursing Home in Saint Leonards-on-Sea. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse leader with proven managerial experience in a nursing home setting.
The successful candidate will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, staff management, and regulatory compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Home Manager with the overall management and leadership of the nursing home.
Lead, motivate, and supervise the nursing and care team to deliver outstanding care.
Ensure all clinical governance, compliance, and CQC requirements are met and exceeded.
Support with recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Conduct audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
Foster a positive, safe, and person-centred environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC PIN.
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or equivalent in a
nursing home setting
(essential).
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and best practice in elderly care.
Ability to work full-time, day shifts.
