A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful nursery team as a Deputy nursery manager.

Our nursery is a warm, friendly setting, caring for children aged 0 to 5 years old. We can take up to 62 children per session so this is a great opportunity to help manage a medium sized setting. You will be supported to reach your full potential and each day of your new career will be rewarding. Our children are fun and loving and will be sure to put a smile on your face.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. Rotating shift pattern of 40 hours per week within opening hours.

The ideal candidate will be approachable, friendly, welcoming and a strong role model.

Required skills, qualifications, training and experience:

Excellent communication, time management and organisation Computer literate as you will be using nursery management software Minimum CACHE Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, OFSTED grade
descriptors and EYFS statutory framework requirements

At least 1 years' experience as either a room leader or deputy nursery manager

Some duties of the deputy nursery manager include:

Complying with nursery policies and procedures, EYFS statutory framework
requirements and OFSTED guidelines

Supporting children to reach their full potential Being an inspiring leader and better the nursery for its families Working as part of a team and motivate staff and support them Supporting the manager to ensure the day-to-day operation of the nursery is kept to a high standard
