Deputy Team Manager
to join the
Leaving Care Team
. In this role, you'll help manage services for young people aged 15.5 to 24 as they transition out of care, ensuring they have the support, guidance, and opportunities to thrive.
You'll work closely with the Team Manager to:
Oversee case management, supervision, and planning across the team
Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance
Coach and develop social workers, personal advisors, and support staff
Help shape services that meet the needs of care leavers and their families
Hold a small caseload where needed and support decision-making on complex cases
You'll need:
A recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, etc.)
SWE registration
Strong background in safeguarding, child protection, and care leavers
Experience in staff supervision, coaching, or team leadership
Confidence in multi-agency working and chairing meetings
A commitment to improving outcomes for young people
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations to ensure high standards of service and food safety.
Manage and lead the team, fostering a positive work environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality.
Train and mentor staff in hospitality practices and culinary skills.
Collaborate with management to optimize restaurant performance and guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas.
