Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and empathetic dermatological nurse with expertise in pediatric and family skin health. You'll support families by diagnosing and treating skin conditions through both in-person and virtual consultations, helping parents better understand and manage their children's dermatological needs. You'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule and rates, and we'll connect you with a steady flow of families actively seeking care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to parents on range of paediatric and family skin concerns (e.g. eczema, acne, rashes, allergies, infections) Provide clear, empathetic communication and tailored treatment plans Conduct skin assessments and follow-ups via home visits or virtual consultations Offer preventative care and guidance on skin maintenance for babies, children, and parents Maintain detailed records and communicate updates with families Collaborate with The Village's wider health network where multidisciplinary care is needed

Qualifications

GMC registration with a CCT in Dermatology or equivalent Experience treating children, infants, and families Strong understanding of paediatric skin issues and safe treatment options Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a non-judgemental approach Ability to build rapport quickly with children and their caregivers

Additional Skills & Requirements

Enhanced DBS check (current or willing to obtain) Insurance to practice as a self employed individual Right to work in the UK Driving license preferred (for local visits) Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse families Passion for accessible, family-first healthcare
