We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for construction and engineering projects. Responsibilities

Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Develop schematics, plans, and technical documentation aligned with project specifications. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate drawings. Utilise software tools like SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and Schematics to enhance design precision and visualisation. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Revise and update drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope. Assist in preparing presentation materials and technical reports as needed for project proposals.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Experience with SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and Schematics is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction processes and technical schematics. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all drawings produced. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience in civil engineering or construction drafting is advantageous but not essential for interns eager to learn.
