On a mission to expand and innovate their product range, they are now seeking a skilled
Design Engineer
to join the team, working on NPD/NPI projects.This is a
hybrid role
working 50 / 50 split, between theBasildon, Essex
workshop and design office and working from home.Salary:
circa 45-50,000
depending on skills and experienceBenefits: Pension, 24 Days' Holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
You should be an experienced Electromechanical Design Engineer who has worked within a production / manufacturing environment.
This should include a background of plastics injection moulding, with a good knowledge of fluid dynamics, hydraulics, motors, pumps, valves, gears etc.
You must have strong technical skills, working to an advanced level with both 2D CAD and 3D modelling ideally via Solidworks.
You should also be degree level qualified in a relevant subject e.g. Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
