Design Engineer

with experience in temporary works, scaffolding systems, or structural support to help deliver safe, efficient, and innovative engineering solutions for a wide range of projects.

What You'll Be Doing



Design & Engineering:

Develop robust, compliant, and cost-effective scaffolding and propping designs tailored to client requirements and project specifications.

Project Leadership:

Own the design lifecycle, from concept and analysis through to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Client Engagement:

Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, ensuring clear understanding of design needs and translating them into practical engineering solutions.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all designs adhere to relevant regulations, codes of practice, and company safety standards, particularly with regard to structural integrity and temporary works requirements.

Collaboration:

Work cross-functionally with project managers, site teams, and commercial departments to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into overall project delivery.

Innovation:

Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and legislative changes to drive continuous improvement in design practices and methodologies.

What We're Looking For



Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). Strong mechanical and structural understanding, especially in scaffolding, propping, and temporary works. Proficient in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). Experience in design troubleshooting and root cause analysis. In-depth knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations and building codes. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Pay: 26,195.43-54,115.57 per year
