About the Role

This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you'll work closely with experienced engineers and CAD technicians to develop scaffold designs that meet both technical and safety standards. You'll gain exposure to real-world projects, receive structured training, and build a strong foundation in temporary works and access engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design of scaffold structures using AutoCAD and other design tools. Perform basic structural calculations under supervision. Support the preparation of technical drawings, risk assessments, and method statements. Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to understand design requirements. Ensure compliance with TG20:21, BS EN 12811, and other relevant standards.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Interest in scaffolding, temporary works, or construction engineering. Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD preferred); training will be provided. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
